Cos'è un codice SWIFT per le banche in Italia?
Quando si trasferisce denaro a livello internazionale a banche in Italia, si incontrano spesso i termini codice SWIFT o BIC (Business Identifier Code) all'interno dei dati bancari. Gestita dalla Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication, questa sequenza alfanumerica univoca da 8 a 11 cifre funge da passaporto universale per le banche in Italia. SWIFT vs. BIC: Qual è la differenza?
Sebbene entrambi i termini siano usati in modo intercambiabile nel settore bancario, comprendere la loro struttura è la chiave per un trasferimento di successo. I primi quattro caratteri identificano la banca, i due successivi rappresentano il paese e i due successivi indicano la posizione specifica.
